Intex launched their first Android tablet in the Indian market, the name of the tab is Intex iTab and is competitavely priced at Rs 11990/-.
The Intex iTab come with 1Ghz ARM Cortex A8 processor and 8GB of internal memory, and for the additional memory the Intex iTab also support MicroSD card up to 32GB. This beautiful Intex iTab has an 8-inch Capacitive touchscreen display with two-point touch input method.The new Intex iTab runs on Android Gingerbread instead of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Furthermore, there is no news on Android ICS update.
Intex iTab has also many other features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G via intex dongle, the new Intex iTab sports a front-facing camera for video calling via third party integrated applications. Intex iTab will available with popular games like Angry Birds and Talking Tom and pre-loaded apps including Adobe Reader, Word/Excel/Powerpoint viewer. Intex planning to launch the device in 7-inch and 10-inch models soon.
